Someone posted this video on my FB wall the other day.
Essence magazine relationship editor Demetria Lucas is also the author of A Belle in Brooklyn: Your Go-to Girl for Advice on Living Your Best Single Life, and she says Black Women DO NOT know how to date.
I have to agree! Dating is indeed supposed to be a fun way to meet great people, not a tedious auditioning process! How did it become this? How do we re-define the process for ourselves? So many questions! We’ll discuss this same question with a few folks here on NTN so we can peel back the layers.
