Monica & Brandy Cover Ebony’s June Music Issue Flawlessly

Spring has definitely sprung as beautiful R&B songstresses Brandy and Monica cover  Ebony Magazine‘s June 2012 Music Issue in pastel pink and vibrant yellow respectively.

Inside, the girls talk relationships, their history and of course their most recent collaboration, ‘It All Belongs To Me.  On the heels of Brandy’s recent appearance on VH1′s “Behind the Music” the star is just as candid in the mag revealing her desire to walk down the aisle with boyfriend music publisher Ryan Press. She also comes to the defense of her baby brother Ray J who she says is ‘misunderstood’.

Boycott Buzz For Basketball Wives Increases As Advertisers Are Contacted

After four seasons of arguments, tears and drama on VH1′s Basketball Wives, it appears that at least a faction of watchers are tired of the foolywang broadcast Monday nights at 8.  The main culprit of the new found shade for the show is being directed toward cast member Evelyn Lozada.

A petition has popped up online, calling people to boycott Evelyn’s new spin-off show, Chad & Ev which will also air on VH1.

Television personality/lawyer Star Jones is also in on the boycotting bandwagon, gathering up everyone she knows to put an end to the embarrassing episodes…

4-Alarm Fire at Tyler Perry Studios Damages Building

Atlanta fire officials fought a 4-alarm blaze last night (5/1) at Tyler Perry  Studios that has damaged a building on the complex.

Atlanta Fire Department spokesman Capt. Jolyon Bundrige says the fire  happened before 9 p.m. Tuesday and there have been no immediate reports of  injuries.

He says the cause of the fire was not immediately known.

The studio’s website says it includes a 200,000-square-foot studio, five  sound stages and a 400-seat theater in southwest Atlanta.

In March, pop star Cee Lo performed for donors at a fundraiser for President  Barack Obama at the studios.
